you'll need:
3 tablespoons quick-cooking oats
2 tablespoons pumpkin powder
2 tablespoons coconut milk powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
2 tablespoons pumpkin powder

at home:
Mix all the ingredients in a medium-sized zip lock bag.
on the trail:
Pour the oat mixture into a food jar or Nalgene bottle.
Cover with 3/4 cup water.
Stir well, close the bottle, and let stand for at least 4 hours or overnight.

I will try this recipe with my gas stove at camp. I prefer hot oatmeal in the morning.
