you'll need:

6 tablespoons quick-cooking oats
2 tablespoons full cream milk powder (Nestle Nido)
1 tablespoon dried apricots, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar or to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ghee
1 tablespoon shelled walnuts, chopped

at home:

Mix  oats,  milk powder, apricots and sugar in a medium-sized zip lock freezer bag.
Pack ghee and walnuts separately.

 

on the trail:

Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil.
Pour hot water into oat mixture; stir and let stand covered 1 minute.
Add ghee; sprinkle with chopped walnuts and enjoy.

Let sit in a cozy for 1 minute.
