Mujadara (or mujaddara) is a popular dish throughout the Middle East and Arab world. In Lebanon, it’s usually made with brown rice, lentils and topped with caramelized onions. This lightweight and healthy version of Mujadara is completely vegan, gluten and lactose-free.

you'll need:
1/2 cup dehydrated cooked rice
1/4 cup dehydrated canned lentils
2 tablespoons crispy fried onions
1 teaspoon low-sodium bouillon powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
Salt, to taste

at home:
Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized zip lock bag.

Put the Mujadara mixture into a pot and add 1 cup water.
Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until rehydrated.
