you'll need:

2 cups rolled oats
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup dried cranberries
8 tablespoons milk powder

at home:

Preheat oven to 160C/320F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine oats, sugar, salt, cinnamon, honey and oil in a bowl; stir until thoroughly coated.
Place granola mixture on a baking sheet. Roast for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
Toss white chocolate and cranberries into granola.
Mix well and divide into 4 portions.
Add to each portion 2 tablespoons of powdered milk and pack into separate zip lock freezer bags.

on the trail:

Pour granola into a bowl.
Add 1/2 cup of hot or cold water; stir well and enjoy!

Freezer bag method:

Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil.
Carefully pour hot water into the bag with the granola mixture.
Stir well and enjoy!
