Golubtsi or stuffed cabbage rolls are widely known dish in Russia, Belarus, Poland and Ukraine. These rolls are usually stuffed with a mixture of beef and pork mince, caramelized onions, rice, a lot of fresh parsley and baked in a creamy tomato sauce. Although in our family Golubtsi is one of the favorite dishes, I do not cook them very often. They are considered to be a meal for special occasions or weekends because they are quite time-consuming to make. The recipe of Lazy Golubtsi is super quick and easy to cook and taste doesn’t differ at all from the original.
